A brief history of SCMS Associates

The company was established in early 2017 by founders and co-directors Stuart Cameron and Mario Staiano, having both worked together previously at an international multi-disciplinary consultancy. The concept was to create a professional consultancy practice with a difference, with more client focus, bringing real value and at the same time, making working on our projects enjoyable too!

We want our clients and fellow professionals to appreciate our hands-on flexible approach, coupled with our extensive experience and quality, delivered with traditional values of honesty, integrity, reliability and a close personal service.

SCMS Associates can produce anything from a feasibility study through to a full BIM Level 2 working model, including our invaluable environmental and sustainability expertise. This we firmly believe steers the project in the right direction from day one and will provide practical, workable, economically and technically viable solutions to the most complex projects and stringent compliance criteria.
