SCMS Appointed designers for new Student Accommodation

SCMS Associates are pleased to announce that they have been appointed to undertake full MEP and Sustainability design services from RIBA Stages 4-6 for the new build Student Accommodation building in the London Borough of Harrow. Having already produced the Stage 0-3 package for the Client, an international developer from Hong Kong, SCMS is now working directly for the Main Contractor, Wren Constructions, to produce the detailed design and construction packages for both the MEP and Sustainability elements.

Founded in 2010, Wren Construction are a main contractor who believe that self-delivery equals smart, safe, effective building. Commenting on the appointment, Chairman Derek Griffiths, said "We are thrilled that SCMS have been given the opportunity to work with Wren, who are a new client for us, and we look forward to developing a prosperous working relationship for the future!".

The appointment includes the installation of all new lighting, power, communication systems, heating, ventilation, domestic water, above ground drainage and sustainability services, to assist in the construction of this new Student Accommodation building.
