SCMS Associates partnered with local consultants KGDMT, were appointed by both the Developer (Commune Group) and the Operator Alila to provide a range of multi-disciplinary services in respect of their proposed 5* hotel and resort development in Salalah, Oman.

Our initial appointment was to provide full Stage 4 MEP detailed design works on the 60million development. His further appointment was to provide MEP project management and contractor supervision during the build stages.

When completed, the resort will comprise of approximately 4.5,314m2 of above ground resort with a further 25,000m2 of built up and below ground areas, including the following:- 

• 1No. Main Hotel Building c/w Basement

• 1No. Themed Restaurant Building

• 1No. Spa Centre Building

• 100No. Ridge Retreat Villas

• 16No. Pool Villas

• 4No. Oasis Villas

• 1No. Presidential Villa 

• 4No. Staff Blocks

• 1No. Engineering Block

Some of the project requirements included but not limited too:- 

• Multiple district cooling networks to serve each building/villa
• Centralised VAV & CAV ventilation systems - CHW Services
• HV & LV Services
• Villa/Room Fit-out
• Contractor Liaison
