SCMS Associates were appointed by both the Developer (Amaris Hospitality) and the Operator Mercure to provide a range of MEP and Sustainability disciplinary services in respect of their proposed 4* hotel and extension building in Oxford, United Kingdom.

Our initial appointment was to provide full Stage 4-6 MEP detailed design works on the 3.0million addition to the development. SCMS's further appointment was to provide MEP project management and contractor supervision during the build stages both on and off site.

When completed, the hotel will comprise of a fully panellized modular hotel, including the following:-

• 1No. Main Hotel Building Entrance Lobby

• 17No. 4* Hotel Bedrooms 

Some of the project requirements included but not limited too:-  

• Centralised ventilation systems Centralised VRF services with heat pumps for heating & cooling 
• HV & LV Services 
• Room Fit-out 
• Contractor Liaison  
• Modular Design team 
• Heat pump generated Domestic Hot Water
