At the centre of both SCMS and the Greenwich Builds master plan in Greenwich, is the desire for all schemes to achieve a minimum of Net Zero, with no gas or fossil fuel burning technologies being permitted.

Charles Folkard Mews consists of 6no 3b5p houses, all constructed using volumetric modular by the modular supplier, being one of the only construction methods available to achieve the Net Zero target coupled with a fabric first approach, the homes built on Charles Folkard Mews contain the following: -

- Efficient performing fabric beyond the recommendations of Building Regulations Part L 2020 and in line with the Future Homes Standard Fabric Plus Technology Option 2

- Dual aspect windows to allow passive cooling

- Individual high efficiency air source heat pumps (ASHPs) to each unit
