SCMS are delighted to have provided full MEP design services and assisted Amaris Hospitality with their MMC solution for the Mercure Oxford Eastgate Hotel.

Utilising a high efficiency SIPs Panelised solution, a fabric first approach was followed, incorporating passive design measures such as low u-values, low air leakage and low thermal bridging.

Further active design measures were then incorporated via energy efficient building services such as 100% low energy lighting, high efficiency air source heat pumps (ASHPs), contributing to a drastic reduction to the CO2 emissions.
